This Privacy Policy explains how Norton Media Enterprise, LLC ("NME," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with NME Money Audit, the web application at https://app.nortonmediaenterprise.com, related mobile applications, and the Money Audit pages and services on https://nortonmediaenterprise.com (collectively, the "Service").
1 Scope and operator
The Service is operated by Norton Media Enterprise, LLC, located at 109 Jessica Lakes Drive, Conway, South Carolina 29526, United States. This Policy applies to information handled through the Service. It does not replace the privacy policies of Google, Apple, X, Stripe, PayPal, AppDeploy, or other third parties that operate their own services.
2 Information we handle
Account and sign in information
When you sign in through an available identity provider, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, provider account identifier, authentication status, and related sign-in information that you authorize the provider to share. We use this information to create and secure your Money Audit account, recognize you across devices, and associate access rights with your account.
Household financial information stored on your device
The Service lets you enter information such as household income, bills, subscriptions, debts, insurance information, expenses, notes, audit answers, priorities, and action-plan progress. By design, this household financial information is stored locally in your browser or app storage on your device. NME does not routinely receive or store those entries on its servers.
You control any backup or export file generated by the Service. If you download, email, upload, share, or store a backup or generated document through another service, that service may process the information under its own privacy policy. You are responsible for protecting exported files and deleting copies you no longer need.
Account access and subscription information
We may store your account identifier, email address, plan tier, access status, subscription source, paid-through date, renewal or cancellation status, complimentary-access status, administrative test-grant status, transaction or provider reference, purchase verification information, and records needed to prevent duplicate access or restore verified purchases.
Payment information
Payments may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, Apple, or Google, depending on where you subscribe. Those providers collect and process payment credentials under their own privacy policies. NME may receive limited transaction information such as a transaction identifier, product or plan, amount, currency, payment status, subscription dates, refund status, and limited billing or contact details. NME does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card or bank-account number.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, name, message, attachments, and information needed to investigate or resolve the request.
Technical and security information
Our hosting, authentication, payment, and security providers may automatically process Internet Protocol address, browser or device type, operating system, request timestamps, session identifiers, authentication events, error information, and security logs. We use this information to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and prevent misuse of the Service. We do not currently use third-party analytics, behavioral advertising, or remarketing tools in Money Audit.
3 How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
- Authenticate users and maintain account sessions.
- Determine plan access and provide purchased, complimentary, or test-grant features.
- Process, verify, restore, cancel, refund, and reconcile subscriptions and purchases.
- Respond to support, privacy, deletion, and legal requests.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and duplicate transactions.
- Comply with accounting, tax, legal, and app-store obligations.
- Improve the Service using support feedback and operational information that does not require behavioral tracking.
4 How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Service providers. Hosting, authentication, infrastructure, support, security, and technical vendors may process information for us under contractual or operational restrictions.
- Identity providers. Google, Apple, and X process sign-in information when you choose their sign-in method.
- Payment and app-store providers. Stripe, PayPal, Apple, and Google process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and related records.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce our agreements, protect rights or safety, or investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
- At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to or give valid consent.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Money Audit does not display third-party advertisements inside the Service.
5 Local storage cookies and service workers
The Service uses browser or app storage, cookies or equivalent session technologies, and a service worker as necessary to remember local audit information, maintain authentication, preserve settings, provide offline or installable-app functionality, and improve reliability. Clearing browser or app storage, uninstalling the app, or using a different device may remove locally stored information. Because local financial entries are not routinely stored in your account, they may not be recoverable unless you created and retained a backup.
6 Advertising analytics and remarketing
NME may advertise Money Audit through third-party platforms, but the Service does not currently use third-party analytics pixels, advertising identifiers, or remarketing technology to track your activity across unrelated apps or websites. If we introduce such technology, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by law before using it.
7 Retention
- Local household financial information remains on the device until you delete it, clear the applicable browser or app storage, uninstall the app, or the device removes it.
- Account and entitlement information is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to administer access, security, deletion, and disputes.
- Purchase, refund, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction-verification records may be retained as required for legal, accounting, security, and audit purposes, ordinarily for up to seven years after the relevant transaction or account closure unless a different period is required.
- Support communications and technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
8 Your choices and deletion rights
You may delete locally stored audit information using the Service's Delete My Data control. This removes local household financial entries from that device but does not delete your Money Audit account, subscription, or transaction records.
You may request deletion of your account and associated account data by emailing support. Money Audit does not currently provide an in-app account-deletion control. We may verify your identity before completing a request. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless additional time or retention is permitted or required by law. We may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, tax, and legal records when necessary, and we will not use retained information for unrelated purposes.
Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel a store subscription through the applicable store. Website subscriptions must be canceled through the available account-management method or by contacting support.

9 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, account credentials, exported files, and backups, and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
10 Children and age restrictions
The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
11 California privacy disclosures
California residents may request information about and correction or deletion of personal information as provided by applicable law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not currently engage in such sale, sharing, or behavioral tracking, browser-based Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the Service operates. If our practices change, we will update this disclosure and honor applicable opt-out rights.
12 United States service
The Service is currently offered for use in the United States. Information processed by NME and its service providers may be stored and processed in the United States. Do not use the Service where its use would violate applicable law.
13 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Service, vendors, laws, or practices change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
