Who it helps
Money Audit is for households that want a clear look at where money goes each month and a short list of things to check. You don’t need a finance background. A few common situations:
A renewal you forgot about
A streaming service or app subscription you stopped using still renews every month. The recurring-charge list shows it next to its renewal date, so you can decide to keep it or cancel it yourself.
A promotional rate is ending
Your internet or phone bill is on an introductory price that rises after twelve months. You note the end date and compare options before the higher price starts.
An annual bill keeps catching you out
Car registration, an insurance premium or a yearly membership arrives once a year. Plus and Bundle help you plan for annual and irregular costs instead of treating them as surprises.
Partners who want the same picture
With the Bundle, two people can work from one shared household audit, each with their own login, so you are looking at the same numbers when you make decisions.
How it works
Start with the free monthly picture
Enter your take-home income and the spending you know about. Money Audit shows what is left over each month, the areas worth investigating, and Things to Look Up — the figures to find on a bill or statement when you aren’t sure.
List your recurring charges
With Mini, add each subscription and repeating bill with its cost, how often it renews and the next renewal date. Give each one a decision: keep, cancel, compare options or lower your plan.
Work through the full audit and a 30-day plan
With Plus, the Guided Audit covers housing, bills, annual costs, savings, debt, insurance, phone and everyday spending, then turns what you find into a 30-day plan of practical actions.
Count only what you confirm
Estimated reductions stay separate from confirmed savings. A saving counts only after you record that the new amount has actually taken effect.
Money Audit is a planning and record-keeping tool. It does not contact providers, cancel subscriptions, pay bills or move money. You make the changes; Money Audit keeps track of them.

Paid plans are annual subscriptions in US dollars and renew automatically until canceled. Applicable tax may be added at checkout. Purchases currently require a US billing address.
On the website, checkout is by card or PayPal. In the Android app, checkout uses Google Play. Manage or cancel renewal with the provider you purchased through: card subscriptions from My Data → Manage billing, PayPal subscriptions in PayPal, and Google Play subscriptions in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Canceling renewal normally keeps access available through the paid term.
Which plan should I choose?
- Free if you want to see your monthly picture and what to look into first.
- Mini if subscriptions and repeating bills are the main thing you want under control.
- Plus if you want to go through every area of household spending and leave with a 30-day plan.
- Bundle if you also want household planning tools, or want to use the same audit on several devices or with a partner.
Bundle: sync and sharing
Keep the same audit on your phone and computer, or share one household audit with a spouse or partner. Each person uses their own login. The owner sends an invitation and approves the requesting account before access begins.
- A household is the owner plus one invited member. The member does not need a paid plan.
- Sync and sharing are optional Bundle features. Signing in on its own does not share anything.
- The owner can remove the member at any time or set an end date for their access.
- If the same entry was changed in two places, Money Audit asks you which version to keep. When a subscription amount differs, one choice also updates that subscription’s plan estimate.
- Opening a shared household needs an online check that you are still a member. Without a connection it is read-only.

Privacy, storage and backups
Your audit entries stay on your device unless you enable account sync or create or join a shared household. Those optional Bundle features store a server copy so your audit can be accessed on the devices or by the household member you authorize.
What we ask for and how it is stored
- You type in your own figures. Money Audit does not connect to your bank and does not ask for account numbers.
- Shared household copies are encrypted by Money Audit before they are stored.
- Synced personal copies are stored with our hosting provider, which encrypts stored data.
- Money Audit does not use end-to-end encryption.
- No third-party ads and no behavioral advertising.
Backups and offline use
- Download a readable backup or a passphrase-protected backup from My Data, and import it on another device.
- Once the app has loaded, you can keep working offline, subject to periodic access verification for paid plans. Synced changes are sent when you reconnect.
- A shared household needs an online membership check and is read-only while offline.
Deleting your information
| What you want to remove | How | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Data on this device | My Data → Delete My Data | Erases the audit saved in this browser. It also permanently deletes any copy of your entries saved to your account with sync, even if sync is off. It does not delete a shared household or your account. |
| Your synced copy only | My Data → Sync across my devices → Delete the copy from my account | Deletes the copy stored with your account. The entries on your device are not changed. |
| A shared household | Owner: Delete the household. Member: Leave the household. | Deleting removes the shared copy, members, invitations and activity log, and the member loses access. Leaving removes the household audit from the member’s device; the household keeps it. |
| Your account | Email support@nortonmediaenterprise.com | A separate request, described on the account and data deletion page. Cancel any paid plan first. |

Frequently asked questions
What can I do for free?
The free audit gives you a monthly picture of your income, known spending and money left over, the areas worth investigating, Things to Look Up, personalized next steps and a basic list of bill due dates. No payment details are needed.
Which plan should I choose?
Choose Mini if recurring charges are your main concern, Plus if you want the complete Guided Audit and a 30-day plan, and Bundle if you also want household planning tools, sync across your devices or a shared household with a partner. You can start free and upgrade later.
Does Plus include Mini, and does Bundle include both?
Yes. The plans build on each other: Plus includes everything in Mini, and Bundle includes everything in Plus and Mini.
Is billing monthly or annual?
Annual. Mini is $9.99 a year, Plus is $39.99 a year and Bundle is $59.99 a year, in US dollars. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled, and applicable tax may be added at checkout. There are no monthly or lifetime plans.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. You enter the amounts yourself. Money Audit never asks for bank logins or account numbers.
Does it cancel subscriptions or pay bills for me?
No. Money Audit helps you decide what to keep, cancel, compare or lower and keeps a record of what you did. You contact providers and make any changes yourself.
Can I use it on my computer and my phone?
Yes, the web app works in a current browser on both. To see the same audit on more than one device, use account sync, which is part of the Bundle. Otherwise each browser keeps its own information, and you can move it with a backup.
How does a partner join?
With the Bundle, the owner sends an invitation in Money Audit. The partner signs in with their own account, and the owner approves that account before access begins. A household is the owner plus one member.
Does the household member need to buy a plan?
No. The invited member uses the shared household audit through the owner’s Bundle and does not need a paid plan.
What works offline?
Once the app has loaded, you can keep working on your own audit without a connection, subject to periodic access verification for paid plans. Synced changes are sent when you reconnect. A shared household needs an online membership check and is read-only while offline.
Where is my information stored?
On your device, unless you turn on account sync or create or join a shared household. Those optional Bundle features keep a server copy. Shared household copies are encrypted by Money Audit; synced copies are stored with our hosting provider, which encrypts stored data. Money Audit does not use end-to-end encryption.
How do backups, deletion and cancellation work?
You can download a readable or passphrase-protected backup from My Data. Delete My Data erases this device’s audit and any synced copy; the household owner can delete a shared household; account deletion is a separate request by email. To cancel, use My Data → Manage billing for card subscriptions, or the PayPal section of My Data or PayPal itself for PayPal subscriptions. Access continues through the paid term. Initial purchases may be refunded within seven days; renewals are nonrefundable except where required by law.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. Money Audit is available on Google Play for Android phones and tablets. Start free, sign in to your Money Audit account, and purchase or upgrade a plan through Google Play.
Is there an iPhone app?
The iPhone and iPad app has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting App Store review. You can use the web app in Safari or another browser while review is pending.
Is this financial advice?
No. NME Money Audit is an educational and organizational tool. It does not give financial, investment, tax, legal or insurance advice, it does not move money or cancel anything automatically, and it does not guarantee savings.
